The Atlantic City Police Department conducted an operation resulting in the arrest of six individuals and the recovery of narcotics.
On October 12, 2023, detectives of the Special Investigations Section and the DEA Liberty Mid-Atlantic High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area conducted a street operation throughout Atlantic City. Â The operation was in regard to continuing quality of life complaints and illegal narcotics distribution and possession. Â As a result of these efforts, five adults and one juvenile were arrested and charged with numerous narcotics related offenses and several had active warrants for their arrest.
During the arrests, detectives recovered marijuana, heroin and cocaine that was all packaged for distribution.Â

ARRESTED:Â A 17-year old male from Atlantic City.
CHARGES:Â Possession of CDS and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
The juvenile was released into the custody of a parent with a future court date.

ARRESTED:Â Taquan Callaway, 27, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES:Â Loitering to distribute CDS.
Â
ARRESTED:Â Quashawn Reynolds, 26, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES:Â Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, and contempt of court.
Â
ARRESTED:Â Tracy Rollins, 46, of Pleasantville, NJ.
CHARGES:Â Possession of CDS and contempt of court.
Callaway, Reynolds, and Rollins were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

ARRESTED:Â Michael McDonel, 36, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES:Â Possession of CDS.
Â
ARRESTED: Justin O’Neill, 23, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
CHARGES:Â Possession of CDS and contempt of court.
McDonel and O’Neill were released on a summons with a future court date.

The public is reminded that charges are mere allegations, and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
